Trails Dates for Mt Lawley District Teams

For aspiring young cricket players, trials for selection into Mt Lawley District teams for the 2025/26 season are coming up in February.

Trials will be held at Breckler Park for new players only:

• U13s: 10th and 17th February, 4.30pm - 6pm

• U14s: 11th and 18th February, 4.30pm - 6pm

• U15s: 24th and 25th February, 4.30pm - 6pm

• U17s: Trials will be by invitation only

Christmas Party

The club's Christmas function is on this Thursday 12th of December at Britannia Reserve, kicking off at 4pm with a bouncy castle, food and drink giveaways, and a few competitions for each of the junior grades to spice it up, with prizes to be won. See you there.

Come on down for some cool cricket challenges for each age grade:

   1) Biggest hit competition 

   2) Furtherest run out from a direct hit

   3) Find the ball under the bucket knockout challenge

And of course Santa will be making a brief appearance to say hello

Please visit the Coaches Resources web page on the club website for competition rules and upcoming coaching accreditation courses. There will be a stage 1 coaching course held on Monday 16th October at Yokine Reserves. See the links on the Coaches Resources web page for details.

All game fixtures and live game results are available on the Cricket Australia PlayCricket App available for Android or Apple IOS. Fixtures will be released next week. You will need to provide your PlayHQ Cricket ID and select the Leederville Mt Hawthorn Junior Cricket Club to see your team.

Just a reminder the team kit bags will be available for collection from the Britannia Pavilion NW Storeroom from 4.30 - 5.30 pm tomorrow and Thursday night, and again next Tuesday 8/10 to Thursday 10/10 from 4.30 - 5.30 pm.

The Season Opener event will be held under the verandah of the Britannia Pavilion on Thursday 10/10 at 5pm. Team managers or coaches will be able to collect the team shirts, hats and scorebooks and ask questions. It will be a great opportunity for parents to meet prior to the first round games on Saturday 12th or Sunday 13th October.

1 Feb - 23 Feb (Rounds 10 - 13)

1 & 2 Mar (Long weekend)

8 & 9 Mar (Round 14)
