ABOUT LEEDERVILLE MT HAWTHORN JUNIOR CRICKET CLUB
The Leederville Mount Hawthorn JCC is a young, family-friendly club with a wonderful atmosphere. We currently have nearly 275 children involved in girls and boys cricket programs which provides us with a strong community and excellent support.
Children of all ages are encouraged to enjoy active sports participation and junior cricket provides safe and supportive environment for children to build bonds with team mates that can last a lifetime. Registrations are open for the Junior Cricket and Blasters 2024/25 season.

The club has strong ties to the Leederville Cricket Club with many juniors going on to play in the senior grades. Players with DOB before 1st July 2007 are encouraged to sign up with the Leederville Cricket Club.
Programs for all ages
LMHJCC offers the club-based introductory program Woolworths Cricket Blast for 5 – 9 year old boys and girls. The Junior Cricket format is played by 10 – 18 year old boys and girls only teams. These programs are a great way to start a cricketing journey through fun activities based on skill development and having a go. LMHJCC has boys’ teams from Year 4 to Year 11 and 3 girl-only teams of Year 4/5, 6/7 and 8/9 levels with the hope to grow each year. We've enjoyed on-field success winning a number of premierships in our short history, not to mention the friendships made and enjoyment had over the years.
Success
We have strong ties with the Leederville CC for our juniors to progress directly into senior cricket. Since 2012 we've had over 75 players from the juniors represent the seniors with Myles and Ashby Dennis, Jack and Lochie Hardy, Tom Matthews, Kieran Abrams, Adam D'Ascenzo, Jayden Leach, Dion, Dan and Adam Boules, Simon Homsany, Callum Reader, Tom Francis, and Jack Fletcher already premiership medallion winners.
The Start Of Something Big
Our juniors also have the opportunity to access District cricket via our WACA affiliate, Mt Lawley District Cricket Club. Many of our female players have played with the Subiaco-Floreat District Cricket Club. Many of our young cricketers have gone on to play at higher levels, including Lochie Hardy who represented WA at the National U/15 Schoolboys Carnival in Brisbane in Feb '16, vice-captain of WA U/17s for the 2017 National Carnival.
